Limbs for Life Foundation was formed to bring restoration to the lives of amputees who cannot afford costly prosthetic care. One of our ultimate goals is to help amputees have the opportunity to return to a normal daily routine after receiving their new limb which includes productive employment and an active lifestyle.
Through the generous contributions of our donors, volunteers, and staff, Limbs for Life Foundation was grateful for the opportunity to assist amputees in financial need to receive a prosthetic limb. In 2010, 81 cents of every dollar raised went to amputee care. Limbs for Life is the financial bridge for these amputees to receive a prosthetic limb.
Some key milestones for 2010 include:
-Provided Prosthetic Devices to 2,728 Amputees Globally
-Received 2,618 Donated Used Prosthetic Devices
-Provided financial assistance to 193 amputees
