COURSE INFORMATION
Registration begins at 6:30 am at the OKC Zoo Education Building. The FUN WALK will be one mile inside the OKC Zoo. Walkers are encouraged to join us in the PARK on the East side of the Lake for the Awards following the Race.

PACKET PICK UP LOCATION
Packets and Bib Numbers may be picked up at the Limbs for Life Foundation office located at 218 E Main St in Bricktown. You may come by the office and pick up will be available on May 16 to May 18 from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

ELECTRONIC TIMING
The Blaze will use electronic timing system by DG Productions for our 2012 event. The timing strips will attach to your shoe. The strips will be given with your bib numbers.

CERTIFICATION AND SANCTIONING
The BLAZE through the ZOO 5k Run is USAT&F sanctioned, certified. Runners are eligible for state and national records and rankings. The race is part of the OKC and Edmond Running Club point systems and scored with the electronic timing system by DG Productions. The one-mile fun walk is not a sanctioned event.

T-SHIRTS
Registration includes a Blaze t-shirt and one free ticket to the Oklahoma City Zoo. Additional t-shirts will be available for purchase for $10 the day of the race while supplies last.

REGULATIONS
All participants must wear a bib number. Participants must comply with The OKC Zoo rules and regulations. All participants must pay an entry fee, unless you are an amputee. All Amputees run/walk for free. All participants must stay on the officially designated course.

CHILDREN
Up to two children under the age of the age of 12 can participate free per paid adult. One t-shirt and one OKC Zoo ticket is provided for each paid adult. The Zoo tickets are only good for RACE DAY ONLY.

SATURDAY PARKING
Parking will be available at the Oklahoma City Zoo Education Center.

AWARDS
5K Awards only will be given for first, second and third place in male and female divisions following the end of the race.

WATER STATIONS
Stations will be made available throughout the course and at start and finish areas. Please drink plenty of water before, during and after the race. Apples, bananas, PowerAde and water will be available at the Park Pavilion on the East side of the Zoo Lake following the race.

EMERGENCY STATION
An Ambulance will be located in the Zoo parking lot. A marked police car will be blocking the street between the OKC Zoo and the lake during the race.
